Lil Regie
Your event’s Super Little Helper. Lil Regie was built with two aims in mind. Firstly to satisfy the company’s own needs as organisers of a conference, and secondly to provide an experience that was as pain-free and delightful as we could make it for those registering. Yes, we know that ‘filling in a form’ and ‘delightful experience’ are not things that go together — but Lil Regie is trying! The company that built Lil Regie run Webstock, a conference for the web industry, that started in 2006 in Wellington. It’s now grown to an event that now attracts some 750 attendees. For the first two Webstocks they used professional conference companies (who were great) and their third-party registration systems — not so much.
They got frustrated with clunky, badly-designed registration systems, and being folks who worked in web, decided to build their own. Thus was Lil Regie born.
